25 cl bottle acquired in Saigon. Warm honey-gold, pours with some head that disappears fast. Smells plastic, sawdust, not so beery. Mild palate, slight stickiness. Flavors are the same as the aromas. Lots of sawdust but I can deal with it.

Golden-straw. A little bit dull. Fruity-spicy nose with a little bit of alcohol. Heavy alcohol on the palate, and lots of residual sugar. Not especially pleasurable.

heavy (2808) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 14, 2009
1/12 0.5 l can. It poured clear, lighter golden body with smaller head. Lemony aroma, somewhat yeasty like belgian ales, touch of alcohol. Flavor was much less interesting, I would say boring, bitterish herbal to lemony and sweetish flowery and biscuity malty. Medium bodied, shorter watery finish. With the taste of an ale, this brew is nothing special, but if its really an ordinary lager its very different one and more than fine for a supermarket beer.

0.5l can purchased somewhere in France with heavy (shared with him too)
Poued a yellow-golden body pierced by lively carbonation. Medium sized thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Honeyish, flowery malty nose, not bad. The taste is kinda empty but with distinct flowery-bready malty notes fading away slightly near the end. One of the better macro quality pale lagers in France, if not the best.

Bart (2938) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 29, 2009
Clear blond coloured beer with some light carbonation and a large white head. Sweet hoppy and little grassy herby aroma. Full palate. Finish is full malty, light grainy and hoppy touched. Medium.

Can. Nice head with medium duration. Color is clear golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, yeast and notes of citrus.

Brought to me by my French friends - they say they mix it with Picon liquer in France to make it stronger. Ive tasted both versions - the Picon and pure one but I have to say that I liked it more when it was cut. Pure version doesnt reach the taste of average mid European pale lagers.

bergstaden (2615) - Rros, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2009 Golden with white head - solid malt base that leaves a plesant taste, and has a nice bitter finish - nice drinkable beer

bottle at cafe in chamonix. clear amber with a white head, no lasting head structure, forced carbonated large bubbles = uninspiring appearance. syrupy, simple... surprise? some chewy vienna malt and some sweet maple flavoring with some light zest/zip, though strictly from the carbonation. weak.

05-OCT-2009, can in Paris. Nice white head on golden body. Easty nose, blonde-like taste, exept for an unclean note. What is that? A little watery, nice carbonation, I prefer the Leffe Blonde any time. OK, but nothing special.
