Fizziness bubbles out into honey sweetness, which trails off. Would be nice if Côte Brasserie offered a decent beer.

On tap, Hotel Omega, Sophia Antipolis. The usual no character mass lager.

On tap after the game.

Benzai (15926) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2016
Bottle [thanks to Inoven] @ home. Clear golden color, full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly metallic, a bit grainy, decently bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie in Frankrijk. Goudgeel helder. Aroma is hoppig en kruidig. De smaak is bitter. Nasmaak is bitter en ebt snel weg. Bier smaakt als een goede pilsener.

Well, this is embarassing. I somewhat like the brown variant of this one, a correct beer to have at home and good to drink casually, but this one really doesn’t work. It tries to be good, being a bit stronger than other commercial shit lagers available, but the result really isn’t pleasing. Very light lemon aroma, bad aftertaste in mouth for a beer that tries way too hard overall. Not great. PARTIALLY APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

djoeye (4615) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 19, 2016
Aroma; white bread, pale malts, floral notes, mild fruit. Look; off white cream head, crystal clear gold golden body. Taste; mild juicy bread, pale malts, hops in bread, some grains - leading to a slightly bitter but malty finish. Feel; soft, nice body. Overall; quite alright brew. Bottle in Côte, Woking. 13/08/16. More aroma than I expected, although vinegar is what came to mind. Dark gold. Bubbly. Sparse white head. Medium bitter, with a sharp bite to it. Light bodied, but smooth. More interesting than a lot of pale lagers.
