Can.50cl. No...tsk..tsk. A malty nutty aroma to this muddy brown coloured beer. Syrupy, toffee malt body with black currant tones in the middle. No dont like it..... taste like big industry brewing.

33cl bottle in a bar. Robe ébène, attaque sur le pain grillé et le caramel. Final malté.

Not very intensive aroma of caramel and bread. Small head disappearing to thin layer. Brown colour. Sweet taste of caramel and burned malts with delicate bitterness.

ForlornHope (511) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2017
Cans from a French hypermarket. Red-brown with a head that is beige, pours big but subsides to leave a slick head. Malty aroma with a hint of leafy, peppery hop. Sweet with a little bitterness. Rich and malty with flavours of fig and dates. Smooth and dry finish. Easy drinking malt forward beer - I like it.

DraftDodger (1448) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 12, 2017
Provence 12/5 2017. 50 cl can from Spar. Albatros looking proudly at the horisont on the can. Pours clear maroon with white head. Settles as thin creamy layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is not very strong. Caramel, brown sugar and mild bitter tang. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is sweetish followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Quite sweet but delicate Brown Ale.

Fles. Goed alternatief om te drinken in veel Franse gelegenheden; redelijk goed bruin bier. Niet echt schokkend, zacht van smaak, maar goed te doen.

elosop (400) - SWEDEN - APR 17, 2017
UPDATED: APR 17, 2017 Mörkbrun med tunt beige skum. Aromen tunn, maltig och söt, lite metallisk (?). Smaken medelfyllig med karamellsötma. Eftersmaken ganska lång, lite mjäll (?), med honungstoner. Lättdrucken.

Foxbush (2003) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 1, 2017
330 ml can from Mini -Mart in Montmartre in Paris. The beer poured a clear brown color with tan head. The aroma of brown sugar and crystal malts are detected on the nose. The flavor is sweet with some hints of chocolate. The brown ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The ale is best in Paris so far. The finish has more sweetness than necessary.

Birra dal colore ambrato con riflessi che Schiuma compatta, fine e persistente. All’olfatto sentori di caramello, miele e caffè. Al palato corpo non troppo strutturato per una bock, note dolci e un po stucchevoli di caramello, caffè. Nel finale rimane poco amara. Non è una birra che mi fa impazzire.
