Draught at the brewpub, vintage 2011, 1 year old, 6.5% ABV
Beautiful mahogany color, creamy head. The caramel aroma is very nice, elegant, perfumy. Nice caramel flavor too, no oxidisation, light nutty touch; it could benefit from some more body, but overall it’s very good.

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2012
Draught @ OSF’12: Medium small off white light tan head on top of a clear dark amber colored beer. Smell raisin, other darker fruits, oatmeal and some light toasted barley malts. Smells nice. Taste toasted stuff, light ashy, prunes, raisin, malts, oatmeal, medium bitter, some roasted sugars, lovely balanced with a not too overpowering roasted taste. Good bock! Aftertaste is light toasted/roasted malts and barleys some darker fruits and sweet grainy tints. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium body and a creamy texture. Nice light roasted/toasted balanced beer. Good one.

Draught @ Oirschots bierfestival 2012. Very nice clear medium dark ruby redy color, excellently lacing, medium sized off-white head. Smell malts, dark malts, lightly sweet. Taste malts, lightly sweet, not much more. Low to medium body and carbo. A bit boring.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. A lovely ruby-ish color in this one, on the brown side though, with a minimal-sized off-white to beige head. The aroma is hard to disintegrate, the scents melt together, but there seems to be dried fruits, caramel and some fruityness. A roasted touch too. The flavor is nice, but as with the aroma it’s hard to say what’s there. Medium to full body. Lasting finish, dry and roasted. A nice one. 110319
