650ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A misty, warm golden body under a low white head leaving spotty lacing down the glass. Rich aromas of peaches, mandarin and grapefruit. Well blended taste of peaches, orange and grapefruit backed by almond sweetness. Rounded and long bittersweet tail. Well bodied and balanced. Great stuff. Tap @ Freedom Brewfest: Floral hop aroma with a super robust hop bitterness. Not much sweetness as many 2IPA's. Solid. MetalNHopHead (2332) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - SEP 28, 2017
Even as an Imperial IPA, Beak Breaker was one of the most balanced and least aggressive hoppy beers I enjoyed in Oregon. Body is hazy and orange. Aromatics are bold and lovely in the ways that are only possible from dry-hopping. Tropical fruit, pine, grass, and toasty malt. Orange, peach, and grapefruit flavors. The fruitiness is dry and candy-like rather than zesty. The big hoppiness is supported by lots of sweet malt. Toffee and subtle graham cracker malt tastes. Bitterness is palpable but very manageable. Another great IPA from Pelican. Beer5000 (6947) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 22, 2017
Tap @ Kombinat, Kristiansand. Unclear orange body with a nice, dense off-white head. Aroma has lots of malt and fruit like mature citric fruit, peaches and oranges. Flavor is sweet malt, mild toffee, peach, mature citric fruit, orange peel, citric zest and good bitterness. Balanced body and long lasting, nice aftertaste. A solid and mature IPA with a de3cent malt base. tightslice (1537) - Redwood City, California, USA - SEP 10, 2017
Bottle from BevMo! in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is grapefruit, bright and fresh tropical fruits. Taste is sticky grapefruit jam without being cloying. Keeps on drinking. A standout DIPA lately.

Pours with nice head and floral. Clear amber with reddish hues. Great balance of strength bitterness and malty. Nice mouth-feel with strong hoppy, bitter aftertaste. Great "drinkability" for a DIPA which can spell trouble! Pelican brewing continues putting solid beers on the shelves!

Tap @ Pelican, Cannon Beach. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, orange, light malt. Taste has malts, orange, mandarin, earthy notes, bitter finish. zoucrew102 (2358) - - AUG 17, 2017
Bomber. Floral hop aroma with notes of citrus and pine resiny hops as well as a hint of caramel. Pours clear amber colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with floral and citrus hop flavors as well as some caramel malt. Finishes dry and quite bitter with pine resiny hop flavors that cling to the palate after each sip. Pretty good, but has a very bitter finish. Idiosynkrasie (8418) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 16, 2017
355ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, flabby, moderately lasting, and lacing, white head. Piney, resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of spruce, coniferes in general, hints of mandarine and orange, mandarine jelly, marmalade, perfumed, floral overtones, pale malty background with minimal caramel malt touch adumbrates bone-dry taste. Taste is dry and bitter hoppy, surprisingly sweet (moderately) pale and caramel malty backbone, notes of pine, spruce, resin, orange, mandarine, a touch of lemon zest, slightly perfumed, floral hoppy overtones; full body, smooth and soft palate. Clean and punchy, paradigmatic West Coast style DIPA.
