Dark brown, small creamy off-white head. Malty, a bit chocolaty and roasted hoppy. Chocolaty, roasted, very stout-like flavor. A bit watery for 6% beer.
Medium everything - colour, aroma, palate. I’ll go with Axemaster on this one, as it really did little for me. mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 29, 2010
22 oz. bottle, pours dark brown with a minimal head. Aroma of roasted malt, hops and nuts. Flavour of roasted malt and hops, with a thin body. Nicely balanced. bhensonb (15085) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 9, 2007
Draft at the Pelican. Clear darkish brown color with beige head. Aroma of toasted malt with stone fruit. Toasted malt with stone fruit to start. Background of a darker, porter style toasted malt. Finish is fruit, light toasted malt, very light, but little bitter. Still, it’s very good to drink.
