Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours dark brown with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of raisins, toasted malt and a touch of coffee. The finish is sweet with a malt and plum aftertaste. Pretty good all around. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 20, 2013
On tap at cheers to Belgian beers fest - pours dark brown with medium foamy tan head. Nose of yeast and coffee. Taste of malt, coffee, and fruit. Very drinkable.

On tap at Apex, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of light powdery cocoa, Belgian yeast and a hint of candied sugar. Flavour brings out nicely light powdery cocoa and delicate Belgian yeast. Easy-drinking and well-balanced. Belgian stouts aren’t usually my thing, but this one is fantastic. Great stuff.
