22 oz bottle. In Hawaii Tasting with IslandHaole. Thanks Dan!
Clear golden color with a small white head.
Sweet fruity hops, sweetness and malt in a balanced aroma. Yummy!
The flavor is grapefruity and resiny hops, moderate bitterness, some darkness and maltiness. Balanced!

Bottle... SMAACMSM O-Town Throwdown, Part Sept... Clear golden ale with a small, fat-bubbled, white head. The earthy, floral nose also provides a blend of tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Straight-up grapefruit rind-like bitterness. Low residual sugar. Finishes bitter and a touch dry. Thanks to darkguardian for sharing the bottle! DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 6, 2006
Bottle from Brock_Landers. Deep golden pour with huge, fluffy head. Aroma of huge piney hops, tropical fruit. The flavor is hoppy, very fruity, with a solid caramel malty backbone. Yeah, this one does get a little hot, but I didn’t notice it until the very end. Worth seeking out! jercraigs (11071) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 14, 2010
2010-06-28. Crisp golden body with a nice off-white head and lace. 3+ Nice hoppy aroma, lemon-grapefruit blend, muted leafy hop notes. 7+ Flavour has a good amount of bitterness, modest citrus, citrus seeds, and a kiss of resin. 7+ Average plus bodied palate is appropriate for the beer. Solid IPA but I had pretty high expectations from anticipation, so it was a disappointment when it was just very good and not excellent. Just a little more citrus would have taken it over the top. Sampler at the brewpub, Pacific City.

Orangish color, light head. Christmas tree hops! Flavor is citrus and pine trees. Light caramel notes too. Good IPA. Pelican is a solid brewery. phaleslu (10895) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 11, 2011
22 oz. bottle purchased online and shared at The Royale on the IPA-themed TNBS. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold color with a decent-sized white head. Aroma of fresh piney and floral hops, tropical fruits, citrus, and malts. Flavor is also fresh, fruity, and floral, with nice balance and malt backing. Light-medium bodied, with a juicy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Really well-balanced, drinkable IPA that almost pushes it into DIPA territory. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

I would like to rerate this beer.
This amber ale poured with a fluffy off-white head and a fruity aroma. This is one hoppy beer, with lots of citrus notes and a very bitter finish. If you’re a hophead you will love this. Otherwise, its’s a bit too bitter. KyotoLefty (10808) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 31, 2014
Bomber. Deep orange with a fine rocky head. nice oranges and sweet malts, rather big and a little syrupy, but good bitterness to balance. Decent, a bit too sweet.
