One of the most accurate ESBs I have ever had. A hint of pennies, chocolate, but and caramel. A little nettle on the nose too. Lots of sweetness and a very, very mild bitterness. Smooth as hell.
Draft pour pint at The Collective, as part of my "pulling beers out of RB hiatus" series. 3 years of no love! Don’t worry, I got this. Penny copper pour with a foam ring head. This is quite an inspiring ESB. For a style that I avoid, this was exceptional. Smooth, caramel flavor. Light. Refreshing. Semi sweet. Easy drinking. It is what I feel it should be. Very good. bhensonb (15756) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 4, 2013
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma of floral/grassy hop. Med body. Flavor is light roast caramel with grassy floral bitter. Finishes very English(decently bitter). marcus (10670) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 4, 2013
Pours orange copper with a modest beige head and a bready citrus aroma. There is a medium-bodied caramel malt flavor that is a bit smoky with a bitter finish. beernovice39 (3269) - Idaho, USA - MAR 2, 2013
On tap golden/amber with a white top. Scent is caramel, fruit and grass. Taste is toffee, spice and citrus. ericdevin (988) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Draft at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours medium tan, little head. Slightly sweet and even more slightly spicy aroma. Body is rich and slightly syrupy, almosy creamy. Finish starts with slight bitterness and then opens up to be malty and a little sweet. Maybe not try enough to be totally true to style, but really delicious, a lovely session beer.

22 oz bottle: Rank aroma, grass. Pours golden, light head. Taste is salty, bitter. Not very good. Bland, boring, bad. pdx77 (1717) - Oregon, USA - DEC 28, 2012
On draught at Pelican Pub. Admittedly not my favorite style of beer, but overall not too bitter. Ratman197 (15360) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Bomber poured a hazy orange amber with a small lastying amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, earthiness and light fruittiness. Palate was medium nodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, toffee, earthiness and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering earthy finish. crackedmachine (536) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Pours clear copper with medium, light-tan head. Aroma is floral, spicy, some caramel. Flavor is mild and balanced. Malty, light-moderate sweetness, with caramel, hints of fruit, and a lightly crisp finish, contrasting with a lingering malt flavor. As ESBs go, this is a pleasant example.
