(Bottle) Very fruity, like melon and berries. Not too hoppy or bitter. I like it because it’s unique, but wouldn’t say it’s great or anything. DuffMan (10452) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 9, 2015
Bottle. Medium orange hue, a bit hazy, with a rocky thick off white head. Nice perfumey citrus hop aroma, sweet. The flavour combination of citrus/orange hops and caramel malts give a marmalade character that is very nice. Moderately bitter finish. I like Pelican’s beers, and this is a good one. Appearance was clear deep orangish gold with diminishing creamy off white 1/2 head, spotty lacing. Aromas are crystal, caramel notes with spicy, earthery, flowery subtle hops presence. Taste are orange marmalade, spicy hops upfront gives way to toffee sweet middle. The soft leathery, tobacco hop finish. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with an average length, then a English balanced finish. Overall, a easy soft English IPA. dwyerpg (6231) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 14, 2015
This is decent. Not overly bitter, but it has a good hop flavor that would really be quite sessionable, but not in the terrible session ipa way. I mean, if you want a light ipa, just drink a pale! Anyways, this is good. biirusaikou (2705) - - MAR 2, 2015
Piney almost minty hops, orange, candy, citrus peel, bittersweet finish. Classic west coast citrus ipa, maybe a bit too simple and not as full bodied as i like them.

This is a easy drinking IPA with a nice palate. The color didn't seem like an IPA. GRM (4075) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 23, 2015
Glass, 6 ounces, brown bottle, during the Media luncheon, trip to the Great American Beer Festival (Denver), savoured on October 3 2014; eye: clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of tan head, average lacing; nose: orange, hops, light pine; mouth: orange, hops, light pine, light grapefruit, light astringency, semi-dry finale in pine with presence of orange, medium-full body, mildly bitter, lightly harsh texture; overall: fine

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a moderate off-white head and some floaties in there. Nose has some citrus with a little bit of grass coming through. Taste is light and seemingly fresh, with floral and citrus notes combining to make an easy-to-drink English IPA. Better than I anticipated. MartinT (9932) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 13, 2015
My Bottom Line:beer-yum (1782) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 8, 2015
Floral, orangey hops and their resinous bitterness balance out polished honeyed cereals and their biscuity angles for a lean, accomplished pint of IPA.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam leaves tufts of foam all around the clear golden amber.
-The slender body, soft prickling of carbonation and refined flavor profile make for high drinkability.
-The hop aftertaste leaves a few wet leaves on the palate.
-This is as professional as their famous Imperial Pelican Ale.
Alluring floral aroma is best feature. Restrained flavour is lacking something (given the strength) and results in a brew a little lacking in coherence.
