So dark, pours a beautiful dark mahogany. dark khaki head. Su-weet—molasses, alcohol. Plum, resin. Powerful stuff, maybe not the best thing to drink on a 96 degree days. I’m free of restriction on 7/4 & this is review 999. Syrupy, dessert beer, rich flavors but more a sherry than beer. Pelican has always leaned toward the British side of styles. mikem409 (2022) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - MAY 5, 2015
