22oz bottle from the Doemens Euro Beer Star stash. Dark gold with a lasting white head. Lots of apricot in the aroma, which is very similar to the cream ale as well. Nice toasty malt underneath, but a light pale ale sort. Nice fruity touch to the flavor and a mellow yet present bitterness. Light toasty malt and a medium to full body with smooth bitterness. Nice golden bitter or whatever they entered it as. Love the hop aroma, even if it is nicely integrated. 11026 (1772) - Alabama, USA - JUL 23, 2005
Tap. Light golden colored with a long lived white head which leaves great lacing. Nice crisp hop aroma, citric, a bit dry smelling if that is possible. Light bodied. Drying on the palate. I don’t get the biscuit from the Maris Otter. Well hopped with malt just hanging in there to balance the citric hop burps. Nice for the style. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 28, 2008
OBF, tap... Poured hazy yellow/orange with a white head. Aroma of spicy esters and yeast strains with some bananas. I was really into this golden, as much as I’d hate to admit it. Had pretty consistent banana flavors with sweet, caramel malt and some hops for an edge. Very similar to a wheat beer. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUN 25, 2011
On tap @ Pelican. Great session beer. The malt character is rich and toasty without being sweet. The hops are nice and lemony with just enough presence to lighten the beer up a bit. I really liked this beer, the drink-ability is amazing. One of the best Blonde’s I’ve had.

[Bottle] shared by Skyview. Pours a clear gold with a soapy whitish head. Medium floral and noble hop aroma without much malt. Very hoppy flavor, really nice and crisp and light and refreshing. A touch earthy. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Gold with whispy white head / Steely, light nose of grass and honey / Light body, clean, low carbonation, some sweetness and resin, watery, good balance but weak finish / Watery but potentially interesting, floral flavors of honey, resin, grain, orange, passion fruit, soap, and cream / A little more oomph to the body would elevate this one. badgerben (5281) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2008
Courtesy of Skyview. Gold color with no head. Light aroma of lemon. Light grain taste, finishing with some crisp citrusy hops. Pretty easy going all around, but definitely enjoyable. ilsaconsume (11) - Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2014
Malty citrus. Excessively drinkable. The scent is to die for but it strangely turns to water in the mouth; the aroma is more than the flavor. For a summer sip it goes down easy! Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Purchased a 22-oz bomber from the brewery’s internet sales. Pours a clear golden pale straw brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt with some lemon zest, and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of golden grain malt, lemon zest and a touch of vegetable. Finish is light, crisp with a clean cut aftertaste with minimal bitterness.
