Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Golden colour. I’d expect some pink from the raspberry but not a lot to be seen. Fruit is just noticeable but not very prominent. Which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on whether they are using the real stuff or extracts. Don’t know which is the case here. Otherwise a light beer with the emphasis on bready malt. Slightly sweet. OK but didn’t really leave much of an impression.

From the Bottle at Chris O’s 05/08/2009 Fruity aroma. Golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance. Fruity slightly rich on the palate with some alcohol present. A hint of bitterness in a malt finish.

(bottle conditioned)The Raspberry is subtle but there is a faint tart vibe -with little fruity juiceiness. Pale malts , caramel or toffee. Pretty yeasty and chalky -complementing the sweetness well. banana flavours. A bit like a Hefewizen .

Bottle 50cl. @ Chriso’s pre GBBF Shindig ’09.
Unclear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, herbs - pumpkins notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090801]

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
Fruity, floral, some honey. Very malty. Very dull, but inoffensive.

Bottle at the legend of Chriso’s pre GBBF09 Tasting. Alround rating: Honey pale malt, fairly yeasty, grassy bitterness, the fruit does come through and mute down the yeast a bit.

Bottled. HAzy orange colour, mediumsized beigeish white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly yeasty, spruce and and mild notes of herbs. Flavour is fruits, some flowery hops as well as herbs + hops. Fleasant

Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2008
Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Muddy golden color. Aroma was quite ash like, with notes of dusty grain and flower, light liquorish, and strong fruity notes. Light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation and dry texture. Light to moderated bitter flavor with good counter fruity sweetness. Dry ash like and floral finish. Quite lovely I thought.
