Rather lack luster and forgettable. Expected more. Aroma was solid and appearance was average. Felt like it needed something more body wise. Kinda thin and light with less creaminess than I was looking for. Slightly fizzy in the mouth. Flavor was sweet but i thought i was going to get more chocolate. For some reason i kept making a connection to a cola. Wont be revisiting this one.

Dark brown with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate and a slight bit of coffee. Fairly light and easy drinking for a stout. Seems more like a porter. But overall pretty enjoyable if not slightly sweet stout/porter/whatever you want to call it.

12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a thicker brown to black with a thin, khaki colored head of foam. The aroma has chocolate, graham crackers, toasted marshmallow, chocolate milk powder. The taste is sweet and chocolaty. Thicker mouthfeel with lower carbonation. Pretty nice.

12 oz bottle and full case from Rick - thanks! Tastes like a thick and delicious chocolate milkshake. A pure natural taste abounds. Stunning!

on tap at Dog & Bull in Croydon, PA - thought it would be sweeter and more chocolatey. Not as good as expected.

12oz bottle. Poured a black color with a smaller sized head. Roast, chocolate, lactose, and a bit smokey and burnt.

On tap at Fat Head’s Brewer’s Brawl
A nice example of a sweet stout, this beer reminds me to check back on Penn at some point in the near future. A good balanced of lactose, chocolate, and malt results in a drinkable blend that is also workable as a session beer due to the lower gravity.

Aroma / Appearance - The watery presence tricks you into underestimating the contents of the glass. Underneath the creamy tan head is a blend of chocolate pie, crust, whipped cream, and an ephemeral sweetness that fades in the summer heat.

Flavor / Palate - Chocolate pudding, sweet vanilla sprinkles, and delicate malts pair with a dry transition that carries to a low key finish. Rather than being forgettable it leaves the mark of Diet Coke with a splash of alcohol. I would love to revisit this and try a full fresh bottle.

Bottle. Pours a flat black body under a small fizzy light brown head that faded quickly. The nose is super chocolaty and sweet with some rich roasty malt. The flavor is just as sweet and full of milk chocolate as you could hope for. If tastes like a candy bar in a glass. No bitterness or burnt notes at all, just tons of milk chocolate. Medium bodied and a bit clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Nice beer for about 6 ounces, then I could pass on the rest.
