Bottle from GE in Indiana. Pours clear, effervescent yellow with pillowy white head. Corn and skunked PBR nose. Grass hop flavor with abrasive, astringent flavor. Bitter corn and bread. Blech.

Average tasting lager, not terribly bitter but still nothing special. Low ABV. This is not one I plan to seek out again. Victory’s Prima Pils is much better.

thorongil2 (3567) - , Ontario, CANADA - JAN 3, 2017
(Tap) clear, bright yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of honey, bread; dry, intense flavour with a long, medium strong, bitter and mineral finish

DATE: September 4, 2016... OCCASION: Watching Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with the family... GLASSWARE: Warsteiner pokal... a thick, crisp, pure white head tamps down and cakes to car wash soap suds... the body is beautiful clear, golden yellow with a steady stream of effervescence... a gentle, pliant aroma of Hallertau and soft cracker make for an alluring combination... a buttery, smooth, inviting body that has little effervescence or life... sippable, slammable, and 4.5% ABV, finished as fast as it began.... the taste profile is thin, with soft hops, flowery hints, refreshing though light... overall, not much to add other than this is a worthwhile sampler mate that fits well with all-day summer drinking... it definitely has its role...

At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass and bread. Taste is somewhat bitter. Very refreshing and old school.

JStax (7307) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear gold with a white head. Good sheets of lacing. Grassy and bitter and a bit resinous. More herbal than I would expect. Medium body and carbonation.

Travlr (26416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 14, 2016
Draft at the source. Crystal clear golden color, solid head and lacing. Bready straw aroma. Taste is bready and peppery.

Frank (4257) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 30, 2015
This distressingly cloudy when poured but it turns out pretty OK in the end. It’s a very bitter take on the style without much aromatic hop character and just a faint hint of biscuity malt. It’s drinkable and fairly crisp but the hop bitterness just overwhelms everything else.

tomer (3845) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - NOV 4, 2015
Draught, smallish head, clear deepish gold color, grainy candy aroma, flavor of honey with a strng sourness and a bit of bitterness. Not good.

BeerdedDave (2005) - Beckley, USA - JUN 25, 2015
light gold color; floral hops and earthy malt aroma; semi sweet, earthy malt with floral hops providing a good amount of bitterness; wellbalanced and refreshing; bitter finish

Jrwhitney6 (515) - - JUN 19, 2015
Beer of month club. Pours a clear straw color with white head. Nose is classic pils - heavy on corn/malt. Taste has more hops than typical pils - a little strange. It's ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
