Bomber bottle. tastes a lot like regular old St. Nick but really packs a wallop on the alcohol front. A bit sweeter and darker the the low octane version. Lucci1981 (1) - - OCT 27, 2016 does not count
Fantastic beer. Give it a try for yourself. The BBA version is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. jsporrer (1146) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 16, 2016
2015 Brewers Reserve Bottle. Pours a Dark brown with a thin off white ring of foam. Medium body with light carbonation and plenty of lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and a hint of chocolate. Very smooth creamy texture with a light roasted malt flavor and a semi-sweet taste. Not too thick and not too sweet. Very enjoyable. Dogbrick (14326) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Sample at Ericka’s and Nihar’s Holiday Gathering on 12/18/2015. The beer is a dark mahogany color with a medium light beige head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and caramel. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit, mild hops and a bit of tobacco. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

This poured a lighter brown with a beige head, aroma of caramel toffee and dark fruits. Flavor similar, light grassy, nothing offensive but lacking complexity. bth122 (1704) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 8, 2014

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown body under a small fizzy beige head that faded to a thin covering. The nose is strongly malty with a heavy caramel and munich malt sweetness. Just a light hint at the 8% alcohol this is packing. The flavor is rather well lagered and smooth with a heavy sweet maltiness. A little bit of an alcoholic kick on the back end. This is surprisingly good actually, plenty of body and not too overly sweet. A nice light, almost roasty note throughout. Full bodied and slightly clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice surprise with this one, these guys do create some nice lagers. DrewFace (970) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - FEB 7, 2014
