Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Transparently black, creamy head. Vague plastic aroma Medium sweet and fairly light bodied with clean somewhat rounded mouthfeel. Before warming to near room temperature the flavour is void and lifeless - only some slight molasses are there. As it warms chocolate comes out more. It finishes with low bitterness and a tad of cardboard. Remains a bit sterile and clean throughout. Oakes (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2009

22oz bottle shared courtesy of Josh. Poured a deep brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, caramel, and toasty. Tastes of roast, chocolate, light coffee, and some caramel. j12601 (12622) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 8, 2010
Bottle. Pours a deep dark black to brown with a large creamy tan head. Sweet light cocoa, dark old fruit, plums, faintest hint of grain. I’m surprised at how good this smells since a number of their other beers really broke down over time, and this smells… tasty. Medium bodied, a bit of plastic and old cardboard finally do show up, but only after a soft bit of vanilla and toffee. Finishes with a bit more old cardboard and a soft grainy bitterness. Better than expected given the age. jcwattsrugger (12433) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 9, 2008
on tap-pours a foamy tan head and dark brown color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/roasty, some hops bite, yeast. OK carbonation. Sammy (12336) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2009
Radek’s bottle. I rally like the style. Not much roast,it is there, dark with a cape of a light brown head. Average mouthfeel. A good lager, you can drink a litre of his and if not share it with others.
