22 oz bonus bottle from tendermorsel on BA. Pours a cola brown with no real head. Nose opens up with some caramel, pale and black malt tones. Flavors are cola like with caramel, and malty tones. There is a nice hop bitterness to go with this beer too. Additional notes of black pepper and brown sugar. Poured very dark brown/ruby in color with a small, tan head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Good to very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, nuts, light smoke, black bread, roasting, slight chocolate, and some nuts. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, dry, malt, slight smoke, and slight chocolate finish.

Deep brown pour with a frothy tan head. Aroma is heavy chocolate and coffee. Just a tiny bit of smoke comes through when first tasting and the coffee flavor dominates. Roasted malty and nutty middle. Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse (Habersham Blvd) - 22 oz bottle. Tar-black pour with a thin but long lasting khaki colored head. Earthy aroma with some faint traces of chocolate. rich flavor with some nice chocolate undertones, a bit of coffee and a nice underlying subtle sourness. Traces of licorice as well. The flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light sourish. Tones of roast, coffee, dark bread, light caramel and hints of plums. Grassy and light herbal hops in the background. The mouthfeel is dryish and soft. Medium bodied.
