Bottle. Pale gold with a white head. Grainy malt aroma with a hint of sweetness. The flavor has a light corny sweetness with a touch of straw. Not bad. cheap (5863) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Brown twist off cap bottle. I get nervous about anything called hometown pennsylvania especially when I am from a hometown in pennsylvania. I’ve tasted some pretty bad bbeers with the name pennsylvania on them. Somewhat volatile aroma. Pale ubiquitous yellow with no bubbles. Has a metallic tinge to it. Some procxessed lager personality. No real bad ill effects. Has a rude tendency on the finish. Very expensive for what you get. $2 for a 12 oz bottle. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - FEB 21, 2011
From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a quick finish. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2010
I saw this beer on special at one of my local distributors, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Now I’m stuck with a full case of a very mediocre lager. The appearance is, unfortunately, the best part of this beer. It pours a bright golden color with a fairly generous white head. The head leaves a little bit of lacing around the glass, but not a whole lot. The nose is very skunky, with hints of rice, dead grass, eggs and stale produce. The body is fairly light with a thin mouthfeel. There isn’t a whole lot to the flavors, either. I don’t sense a lot of flavor in the first half of the body, but what does show through in the second half and in finish is very desireable. The overall tone is quite sour and a bit bitter. I got some lemongrass, stale bread, stale hops and some hay. It’s pretty safe to say that I won’t be purchasing this beer again. JFGrind (2047) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2010
Light bodied pale lager. Tried to ask the rep if it was all grain or a rice beer and never got a straight answer. Sounds like their market is budcoorsmiller drinkers based on the conversation. I can only wish him good luck and thanks for the free pint glass. Sampled @ Crowne Plaza Beer Fest.

Spoke to a slaes rep when I tried this one. The idea is that you can only get the beer in the state by which it is named. Interesting concept but the beer isn’t worth going around the block for let alone across a state line. Low on taste, character and body. afireinside96 (923) - Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2009
12oz bottle served in an English pint glass. Pale gold in color with a quarter inch head that seemed as though it wanted to hang around but got tired of waiting and gave up. The nose is sweet and grainy with a cidery quality. The flavor is sweet and dull. Has a bit of a chemical quality to it. Avoid this one. checkmatei1 (765) - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 13, 2010
Bottle: Poured a golden yellow with little head. The aroma was barley and malts. The flavor was dull, lacking any real character. Overall, would take this over a Bud but not much else. grandet (501) - Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2009
Bottle. Poured a light yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is light grain and some corn and mild hops. Taste is very light and drinkable. Not much in terms of taste but very easy to drink. ehh... machfive55 (358) - Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2011
I had this on tap at citizen’s bank park. I thought the beer was a little too fruity for a lager, while that is pleasant and does not take away from the beer, I thought it was a little aggressive, for a lager. Otherwise, this is a tasty, refreshing brew.
