Super pungent hoppy aroma. Full hoppy body, but light grains push through to the finish. Touch milky, but also alas a touch plasticky.
Rerate: Cask (GBBF2011, Friday) (6+:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Sweet sherbet aroma. Grassy and plant-matter too. Adequate malty body, quite sweet and full. Plenty of malted barley. Finish has classic UK bitter hops, and typically muted. Just a bit of pungency. Improves as you drink it.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, grassy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask (handpump) at Great British Beer Festival, day 4 on 5 August 2011. Darkish gold colour. Grassy aroma. Thought I picked up a salty seaweed tang but that’s probably just a case of suggestion. Develops into a sharp, clean golden ale with a pleasant tangy hop presence. Would make a decent Summer quaffer.
