An okay Belgian ale. Crisp and a little viscous mouthfeel. Belgian yeast is more than understated than I prefer. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Sample 7/19/14 (Naperville Ale Fest)-Pours a hazy golden with a small head. Aroma of spices, yeast, and grains. Taste of the same with a bit of spice. This light to medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down easy. jahshuwuh (567) - USA - OCT 14, 2014
A slightly hazy straw color with little head. A slightly spicy barnyard smell, perm, banana. Taste is a spicy hop, barnyard, fruit rind, partially flat(maybe a bad bottle), some banana, not a lot of sweetness though. Some off flavors, plastic like hop bitter that detracts. An ok drinker, need to try a fresher bottle.

2014 bottle. Slightly hazy straw color with a receding white head. Aroma is bready malt with some yeast, a hint of pear and a little pepper in the background. Pepper is a little more apparent in the taste and enhances the bread and yeast flavors. There is a faint floral bitterness also. Mouthfeel is clean and light.

Pours a slightly hazy light golden yellow with half a finger of white head that settles quickly and good lacing. Aroma has clove and bread from the yeast with some faint fruit and floral scents. Taste has a sort of saltiness up front that becomes clove and cracker malt mixed with some light grassy hops and citrus. A white pepper spiciness and some light bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is aqueous with a light body and moderate carbonation. Clean and very drinkable and refreshing. Interesting beer.

Draft on tap at the brewery (Geneva, ILL). Pours a nice hazy golden yellow hue, a bit of orange hue, striking golden yellow glow through the body. Loopy white head atop is fluffy, coats well and sticks around well into the pour as a nice splotchy film. Aromas show a bit of fruit, subtle yeastiness but fairly clean. Some bread, straw, bit of earthiness. Touches of apple, gentle citrus and subtle banana taper on. A bit spicy, dry. Initial is clean, smooth and tasty. Pretty crushable with notes of banana, apple, faint pineapple. Bready maltrs are mellow, clean with a bit of dough. Earthy dryness, some yeasty elements press on. Smooth, fruity but clean. The backend is a bit dry and almost a faint tartness. Good and easily drinkable. Not too much fruit or sweetness while still having some character. Really nice Single worthy of a session. Yeah over carbonated but pretty tasty for an Abbey Single. Actually displays a nice restrained green and fresh hop note around the yeast and pale malt base. Just a slap of spice otherwise it is quite clean and refreshing. markducommun (1117) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 5, 2014
Cloudy light, golden. Light white head. Straw, light citrus. Slightly bitter, modest malty sweetness. Light body, slightly chewy mouthfeel, slightly carbonated. Fine.

Very fruity like a saison. Spices and mild hops. Pretty good. Orange cloudy with white head. Sample pour at Sheffield garden walk craft beer festival. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 14, 2014
12oz bottle. Peachy pale yellow body. Thin white head. Zesty, sharp citrus bite up front fades into a clean, easy, malty finish. Has a real nice carbonation, they certainly get that right. Almost has a salty Gose like thing going on. This is a pretty phenomenal session beer. Well exceeded my expectations, wish they made this in reasonably priced sixpacks. Unique and great.
