on tap @ Pensacola Bay / FL --- Clear dark amber, foamy beige head, strings of lace. Taste is watery caramel malt moving to a big carbonation burst on the swallow, then mild hops into a short finish. Rated from notes taken 28 Dec 2012 -- This growler sat in my parents fridge, sealed for 3 months before I could get my hands on it. It held up incredibly well. Translucent copper color malty scent. Great doppelbock flavors and finish.

Draft. Poured dark brown with a moderate tan head that lasted with good lacing. Good caramel toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Balanced sweet malt flavor with a moderate smooth balanced finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable doppelbock.
