Sampler at brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lot of citrus notes on the nose and tongue. Hides it’s booze well. Finished clean though I wish it had a bit more bitterness. Handypaul (554) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Bottle. Date indicates bottle is 3 months old. Pours cloudy orange with a 2-finger, frothy to creamy, white, fully-lasting head that leaves very good lacing. Aroma of pine, sweet floral and caramel malts. Medium body, juicy grapefruit, pineapple, orange and dry sawdust flavors, lightly bitter, lively carbo, a sticky finish that increases in intensity. Well balanced. I’d have it again. jredmond (8288) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 4, 2015
Draft at the source with Paul. Pours a clear golden amber body with thin white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium to soft with notes of fruit, soft pine, light grass, clean malt, soft grain and perfume. BroSpud (2189) - , Massachusetts, USA - FEB 16, 2014
22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy golden amber with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Notes of pine and citrus with most of the flavors on the citrus side. Doesn’t match the better west coast IPAs but still pretty tasty. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2013
22 fl oz bomber bottle on 18 November 2012. Purchased somewhere in Massachusetts (forget where) in October 2012. Golden amber with a slight haze. Just a touch papery on the nose - maybe not at its freshest but hard to tell without a best before / bottled on date. Otherwise a good solid strong IPA. Plenty of resinous and piney hops on the palate. Quite bitter on the finish with grapefruit notes lingering. Nicely dry and not at all sticky. Not a world beater but pleasantly tasty and pretty well done.
