COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with healthy doses of chocolate and black patent malts, this delightful beer is as black as the cold night sky but its robust flavor and smooth finish will warm you to the core. Try it with hard cider for a Snakebite.

BottleBottle shared with myself. Smooth creamy milky cocoa with some pleasant bitter dry roasted dark chocolate. Tasty, good session stout.

22oz capped, thanks Tom. Black with a creamy tan head. Good god, what a butter bomb! Nose is pure caramel quad pump movie theater popcorn. Thin body and light carb. Not as much butter in the flavor, some stout come through, super oily and some coffee...one of the bigger butter bombs in a while for me.

If i have ever smelled butter in a beer this is it... holy shit. Every time I smell I go into convulsions. God awful qc nose. Some stout in there if you give it a chance, there is some roast and oat notes, but the butter murders this one. Dark brown pour thinnish beige head. Salty butter, awful. Roast underneath, oily butter with roasted notes in the finish. Oof, this one is not good.

Pours dark brown with a moderately dark brown head that disapates quickly making the beer appear rather still. The aroma consists highly of chocolate, oats, coffee and oatmeal. Amazing aroma. The flavor is sweet and roast with a little bitterness. There is a little bit of a metalic flavor. The palate is not acceptable. The body is very thin and rather watery. The redeeming quality is the nose.

Bottle. Dark black beer with a thin tan head. Aroma is quite sour. Unpleasantly metallic with a touch of sour coffee in the background. The flavour is also sour with a bit of chalky charry flavour. Utterly undrinkable.

Pours dark with a head that dies quick. Aroma is roasted malt, some acid, and nuts. Body is thin, carbonation is mild, mouthfeel is oily. Taste is somewhat sweet yet acidic. Where’s the depth to this brew? "Robust Flavor",,,hardly. The acidic flavor cleanses away leaving a slightly oat finish. All in all not impressed with this one.

090510-on tap-pours a retaining big light brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-licorice/chocolate. As it warms, molasses. Taste is dark malt-molasses/chocolate/ashy, creamy/oat, some earthy hops. Interesting for style/occasional, although not my style. 3.4 *090510-Peoples Pint Oatmeal Stout–on cask-pours a tan ring for a head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-bolder than tap and alcohol and earthier. 090514-22oz bottle-pours a rich light brown head and black color. Aroma is very sweet clashing with earthy, rubbery, chocolate/molasses/ashy-dark malt, acidic. As it warms it doesn’t clash. Taste is ashy/coffee-dark malt, acidic/earthy/bitter hops, some alcohol, powdery/gritty mouth feel. Based on having at cellar temperature. 3.1

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is dried fruits, wine, plum, malts, and oatmeal. The look is brown to black, decent beige colored head. The taste is vinegar, tart, acidic, malts, and oatmeal. Weird stout.
