Quite respectable. It seemed more like a stout then a porter to me, but that’s no bad thing. jjgmd (2288) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2015

Pours a deep brown color with a chestnut, dark roast aroma. Taste is rich coffee, chocolate, and slight caramel. The flavor mixture of this beer is excellent. A well balanced complex flavored beer that was smooth and easy drinking. Flavor was consistent and was heightened as the beer warmed. Very enjoyable porter. nickd717 (4996) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 1, 2015
Is this named for Jake Peralta of "Brooklyn 99"? No? Bummer. Draft pours very dark brown color with a one-finger tan head. The aroma is roasty with chocolate and coffee. The flavor is nice and earthy, very balanced with both caramel as well as chocolate/roast. Nicely hopped. The body is medium-plus and carbonation is on the softer side. Surprisingly impressive. Would drink again. gunnfryd (15479) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 31, 2015
