Deep mahogany color with thin, dissipating head. Slightly skunky flavor with light fruity aromas.

Pours dark brown. Sweet, spicy, almost beglian nose. Very sweet in the taste but mellowed out in the nose to make a nice crinkability factor. One you can enjoy. rxeight (3080) - Illinois, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Bottle, thanks Bob! Murky brown pour, belgian ale aroma, maybe like a belgian double. Initial taste isnt much, but then it slowly builds to a nice tart white wine sweet grape taste. Light, easy to drink and quite refreshing. HopTsing (575) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - AUG 18, 2013
From the tap came a very dark brew with a tan head. Medium bodied with slightlt tart/malty flavor an aroma.

Tap @ Mekong shared with HopTsing. Very dark with thick cream head and lots of lacing. Smells roasty, boozy, herbalescent, and tart. Tastes roasty and bitter. Not too heavy. I actually really like this which I wasn’t expecting. JPoe (6) - - AUG 11, 2013 does not count
There is a soft bitter chocolate light belgian yeast flavor with light lactic acid taste. Hair6a11 (1481) - Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2013
On tap at the local option; pour is murky brown with a fine bubbled khaki head in this glass; it has a certain aroma that I recall... somewhat belgian, and somewhat shitty as well. Cola, fruit esters, berries, and caramel. The flavor profile reveals a prickly carbonation, cola sweetness, berries, caramel, moving to some weak belgian notes that never come together. Yeah, I remember this from the struisse release
