Draft. Cloudy straw colored, light head. Mild aroma but strong taste with sour notes and plenty of carbonation. Good strong choice strattonspeaks (113) - Springfield, Missouri, USA - JAN 16, 2014
Murky brown pond water pour. Pillowy, two-finger eggshell head. An apple-pear blend on the nose with spicy yeast notes. Taste is a fantastic sequence of yeast up front, big pear in the middle with the sage bringing great spice on the end. Works really well. Probably a bit too sweet for my liking, but a really cool beer. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 14, 2014
Bottle share. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma has a bit of pear, some funk, a bit sweet. The taste is medium spicy pepper, sweet pear, wildly easy to drink. DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Draft at Whole Foods PM. Pours hazy apple cider colored with minimal head. Nose is pear, mild spice, tastes of a slightly malty peary with some well integrated spice. Solid. jbrana (640) - NASHVILLE, Tennessee, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Tart, fruity, and slightly spicy with some sweetness. Pretty complex, and overall good. Strong flavors of pear, and banana-like notes from the Belgian yeast.

Bottle courtesy of Onyboy... Color is tan orange, thin whitish head... Aroma of pears, apples... Flavor is earthy, grainy with prominent notes of pear initially, with a peppery yeasty finish on the palate... Pretty good, definitely enjoyable..

Bottle. Almost golden, almost burnt orange. Bit fizzy, but not much of a head. The aroma hints at applesauce, but once onto the tongue, this definitely has a tart pear character, super green pears at that. The sage adds a funky little herbal edge. Quite unique. Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Light fruity base, some spicy and earthy/herbal notes, and faint peppery notes. I don’t know what white sage is. I do what what pears are. Anyway, this beer was pretty good. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2013
Pours hazy thicker orange and golden with a small head that is gone quickly. Aroma is light warm pear fruitiness matched with sweeter malts. Flavor brings pear showcasing here, with some spice from the sage up front that settles quickly into the fruit. It is balanced quite well. RobertDale (6480) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - DEC 20, 2013
750 ml. bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a decent white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, floral, and sage. Taste is pears, citrus, yeast, sage, floral, and spice. Nice.
