Tap; pours black with a tan head; aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, molasses, and some mint notes; taste is light sweet with chocolate, mint, molasses, and roasted malt; dry finish, alcohol warming finish with some lingering mint wxman (1814) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - APR 3, 2017
On tap at Global Brew. Pours a super dark murky brown with a small brief brown head. Aroma is coffee and burnt malt. Taste is dark roasted malt, fairly sweet chocolaty coffeeish stout flavor along with a hint of Girl Scout mint chocolate cookies. Very good, with a bit of ABV warmth after the swallow. Blacl and low carbonation. Lots of min lt flavor, like a chocolate mint cookie. Thick palate. coachd (803) - Missouri, USA - MAR 12, 2017
Smells like an Andes mint. My only objection to the aroma is that the mint comes off as a little fake. Beautiful black color with a dark brown head. Tastes like if a thin mint were made with dark chocolate. A hint of coffee in the aftertaste. ABV is very well hidden. Smooth palate with very low carbonation; a little on the thin side. This is an interesting take on an Imperial Stout. You should try this. The_Osprey (7881) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2017
December 2016 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Thanks Leighton! As ’Perennial Mint Chocolate Stout ’, 10.0%. Opaque black, foamy brown head, dotted lacing. Aroma is mega peppermint up front, also After Eight mints. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste has more After Eights, peppermint and chocolate, molasses. Mega minty. Fun beer but wouldn’t want to drink loads of it. (3.4)

Bottle, 750 ml from Beergium shared with rest of the guys at grand tasting 11/2016. Pours black with small brown head. Roasted malts, chocolate, mint, true After Eight character. Oily texture, moderate sweetness. Full bodied. Usually not a fan of mint, but this was a nice twist. DuffMan (10271) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2017
Bottle, shared at game night. Hearty near black with a dense brown head. Smells like a fresh box of After Eight dark mint chocolates! Richly flavoured palate that strikes the perfect balance between fresh mint, bitter cacao, and dark roast. Velvety smooth, dense, almost chewy. Just fantastic, loved it. anders37 (26194) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2017

Level 42 Bottleshare and no Mark King in sight. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and has modest fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate laden malts, some chocolate cream. After Eight dark chocolate mint. Smooth finish leaves a nice minty linger. Works well, very drinkable.
Bottle at level 42. Cheers! It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, big mint chocolate vibe, after eight mints, toasted brown sugar,r lasted malt and maltesers. The taste is slick, very sweet, sticky, chewy malt, toffe, millionaires shortbread, after eight mints, chocolate brownie and some warming alcohol with a slick finish. Full body and fine dry, fine carbonation and chewy mouth-feel. A bit sweet and one - dimensional, but not bad.
