bottle... really great looking beer, super dark black body with an equally dark tan head, good carbonation, just great coloring... on the aroma I get a big initial burst of the cinnamon, a bit of peper and a little chocolate, good but Im not a big cinnamon fan so its not great for me... the best thing about the tasting experience is the mouthfeel, full and coating, thankfully the cinnamon fades on the taste, as do the peppers, get more nibs and chocolate flavors than anything... solid beer Id have again

Served on tap at perennial artisan ales. Black color with a brown head. Sweet cherry aroma. Cinnamon spice peppers dark choc coffee flavour. Heavy body. Lot of flavour and very smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Big cinammon and cocoa on the nose and tongue. Nice amount of pepper notes on the tongue as well. Very round and robust though it hides its booze well. Nice!

Draft at RR. Pours jet black with minimal dark brown foam that fades with no lace. Aroma is roasted Chickory, coffee, black malt, cardamom & mild chilies. First sip is similar with mild cola like quality. Finish is slight marshmallows and hints of chilies. Great beer.

On [email protected] basement: pours oily black, haze with foamy brown head. Aroma: roasted grain, dark malts, cinnamon, cacao nibs, vanilla, sherry-like alconol note. Flavor is very similar with similar intensity: dark bittersweet chocolate, gentle coffe note of sark malts, roasted, cinnamon, vanilla, molasses, cacao nibs, gentle chilli burnt before finish. Thick body, smooth carbonation and low carbonation.
