Bottle. Dark brown pour with a brown head. Great lacing. Huge coffee aromas. Bitter toasted malts and bourbon notes. A little thin in the body with an average mouthfeel. jdskinns (220) - South Roxana, Illinois, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with brown head. Aroma is huge on coffee, dark roast, and brownie. Taste is bitter, dark chocolate, coffee. Barrel flavor is in the background, not overpowering. Probably the best coffee flavor I’ve ever tasted in a beer. Great choice that pairs with the beer perfectly. I thought this could have been a little bigger on the body, but overall very good. 750ml bottle, bottled 2/2013, shared by phaleslu. This bottle has the THICKEST wax I have ever seen. It was about a 1/4 inch thick. I’ve got a tool on my key chain that usually makes quick work of wax, but this was bottle was a bitch, had to chip at it with an ice pick. Totally unnecessary amount of wax, but I guess that’s part of the fun. The beer itself was well worth the effort.... Dark brown color, thin light brown head. Good splotches of lace. Awesome big bitter coffee aroma. Like turkish / arabic coffee. Bigger bitter taste, very light sweet. Some light vanilla in the flavor. Big chewy thick body. Lighter carbonation. Just a very light warmth. Very, very good stuff. Love the long bitter, roasty aftertaste, and the huge assault of coffee. My kind of beer. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap at Devil’s Den. I was concerned when this was advertised as BA Abraxas "infused with coffee" hoping, at least, that it was some version of Abraxas. Apparently not. Dark brown with a tan head. Nose is dark chocolate, espresso, caramel and vanilla. I also noted slight cinnamon stick maybe picking up on the barrel notes. Medium body with a tang. Taste is cocoa, coffee bean, toasted coconut and light chili but i need more spice (obviously). Paired perfectly with the Habanero Sculpin. A solid coffee stout but sadly not Abraxas, as i found out the next day. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap at Devil’s Den for Philly Beer Week. Deep black body, no head, thin khaki skim, minimal lacing. Nose is coffee, char, some choco and pepper. Flavor shows some barrel. Full bodied, undercarbed, slightly boozy, lingering finish. Eh.

EDIT: was mislabeled as ba coffee infused abraxas
On tap at Devils Den, pours deep black, with light head, no lacing. Aromas and flavor of heavy coffee, chocolate, char, green pepper, barrel, where is the vanilla cinnamon? Light to medium carbonation, thick mouthfeel. Mehh Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2013
Mild barrel with a dose of coffee that’s toward the wild spicy side. Dry and faintly roasty NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle shared by Kan at anti-DLD. Thanks! Pours black with a dark brown head. Nose is spicy coffee, light notes of bourbon and vanilla. Big roast in the nose along with chocolate. On tasting, moderate bitterness and coffee forward though not overpowering the beer. More floral notes come through with the roast and cocoa. A bit thin on the palate but the barrel is super clean and integrated. Really cool beer that I’d love to try again. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 20, 2013
(750ml bottle) espresso brown, dark tan head. Nose of rich milk chocolate, bourbon, so rich, caramel, Creme brûlée. Taste of bourbon, cream, rich rum raisin, dark fruit, super complex and smooth, thick body, bourbon linger. Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Aroma brings such pleasant sweet coffee. It pours thick, dark black and unclear like oil with a coca colored head. The flavor has a creamy roasted malt flavor that slowly brings the coffee on the tongue, getting stronger but never overbearing. The coffee lingers on without bitterness, but more sweetness.
