Very cloudy brown. Thin head. Very sweet and light. Like a wheat soda. Very drinkable.
Draft at taproom. Pours golden with an inch of white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. A whisper of malt on the nose. Dry and tight on the tongue with a hint of caramel. Finished clean. Solid. seymour (2093) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2016
Half-Liter glass stein on tap at the 2016 Urban Chestnut Oktoberfest. It poured a mostly clear golden colour, very lively foam, long-lasting with lace. Grainy, biscuity, grassy, black pepper spice, noble hop balance. Definitely Germanic in style, with a faint tartness not found in classic examples, but supported the dry finish in a nice way. Tasty and refreshing.Bif (2307) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - SEP 20, 2016

Tasted from bottle into a snifter. It poured a mostly clear orangish-amber color with persistent creamy off-white foam and a little lace. Aromas and flavors of bread, sweet malts, caramel, faint noble hops, faint black pepper. Smooth and balanced, it tasted a bit like an Oktoberfest but fruitier with a mellow spiciness. Mild, balanced and unassuming. Good stuff.
On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy coppery color with a small head. Aroma of some malt sweetness, grain and citrus in the background. Taste of malt sweetness, trace of fruit and grain. Nice bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, crisp and flavorful. Enjoyable beer that goes down easy. kaser (6366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2015

From notes. Tasted on 4/23/13 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thick off-white head that leaves average lace. The nose is bready malt with some spicy, green hops underlying, and just a touch of yeast aroma. The flavor is bread up front, some spicy, bitter, green hops, and the yeast from the nose showing a bit nutty. The body is medium with average, stinging carbonation, and a medium spicy hops and lightly nutty finish. BVery (11209) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 15, 2014
