Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer. mcberko (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2012 64 oz. bomber, sent from tstockstrom (thanks a lot, Chuck), pours a dark amber orange with a small beige / tan head. Aroma of rich toffee, brown sugar, lots of resinous and citrus hops. Flavour is rich, full of toffee, brown sugar and huge resinous and citrusy hops, with a humungous flavour profile and loads of depth. At first, seems like a barley wine, then seems more and more like a IIPA. Excellent stuff. wxman (1840) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Slight hazy amber/orange color with a fair light tan head. Grapefruity aroma. Sweet malt, caramel and immense hoppy grapefruit and pine taste. This one is busy, but good. thomas15 (689) - Alabama, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Citrus exploding immediately. Lemon. Dark brown good lacing white ring but not much of a head. Unexpected darkness. Taste is citrus bitter with companion flavor that sticks out a bit that is hard to pin down. Mint? It’s bracketed by intense bitterness. Good. jandd1983 (4544) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - OCT 15, 2012
It poured a dark orange color with a small white head. The aroma was malty with lots of hoppiness. The taste was a bunch of hops and malts. This was a very good IPA.

Tap at brewpub. Pour is deep hazy orange with a small medium head. Aroma is sticky toffee malt with loads of resinous hops and pine hops. Not subtle. this is a big IPA. Flavor is also loaded with sticky hops and rich toffee malt. Resinous hops are present, but the thick caramel malt dominates. Just a big beer all around. Solid cold weather IPA.
