COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fantastic Voyage is a harmonic melange of coconut and Imperial Milk Stout brought to us by brewer Jim Leabig. Loads of coconut, lactose and black malt balance each other to provide flavors reminiscent of chocolate covered coconut with a finish smooth like silk sheets. Best enjoyed while listening to slow jams by candlelight.

Black hue with a thin foamy light khaki head. Bright chocolate cupcake aroma that’s sweet and slightly caramelly and coconutty—kinda smells like German Chocolate cake. Smooth dark roast malt flavor that’s creamy and coconutty and a little chocolaty. Actually richly chocolaty. With a ill body and a smack of coconut. Lingering creamy sweetness with dark chocolaty malts finishing. Lovely.

Some coconut and some caramel. Roast and a hint of macademia. I really like this one. Like an imperial stout, but suaver like Gerardo Mejia. Black pour with good head and lacing. Tap at Whole Foods.

On at Fireworks Pizza, Leesburg, VA 3/12/2017. Jet black in colour, with a tight, beige, head. Smooth lactose character, slightly toasty malts malts, some milk chocolate and coconut notes, a hint of leafy hop before a boozy finish. Very good.

@ BCBF 2017 Very nice aroma with whiff of coconut. Taste is very frivolous. Some coconut, light roast. Very fresh feeling. Palate is rather thin, but that is not a problem with this complex beer. Some chocolate. Some sourish tones.

Jet black pour with a single finger espresso colored head. Aroma is full of chocolate and coconut. Medium bodied. Extremely sweet. Taste is full of chocolate and coconut, like a mounds bar. The coconut tastes great and is not perfumey. Very tasty, but too sweet for a full pour of this. Couldn't drink more than like 6oz at a time. No lace.
