Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2012 - Poured hazy amber with a beige head. The aroma is very tart with vinegar traits, big cabernet notes, tart cherries, vanilla and oak. Medium body with a bit of bite and minor carbonation. The aroma traits are also on the taste along with more wine aspects, vanilla smoothess and some buggy/funky sweet/tart notes. Sample on tap at Midwest Belgiam festival. Pour is deep cloudy red with a thin tan head. Aroma snd flavor are light and fruity with hints of cherry, berry, and a light funk. There were two barrels or maybe two tap adjustments for this one. The first was nearly flat and not very good. The second one was perfectly carbonated and really really good. Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest. Nice flanders red with sour raspberry flavor. Nice and fruity. The carbonation seemed relatively low.

2 draft samples at MWBBF. They put both batches of this on throughout the day; the first one poured a hazy ruby-red color that looked like some Ocean Spray fruit juice; the second was a little more brownish along with the hazy ruby color, more like a normal Flanders Red. Not much head on either. The aroma has raspberries, blackberries, yogurt, sour grapes, acetic acid, and sweet malts. The flavor follows the same berry fruit lines, with some lemon-like tartness, mild malt sweetness, and acetic acidity. Medium-bodied, with a sour, tart mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really good, fruity sour.
