On tap at the Tasting Room in a willybecher glass. It poured a hazy dark brown color with off-white foam, creamy and long-lasting. True-to-style English Porter: bready, nutty, toasty, mildly fruity with restrained grain bitterness...except with hot and tangy habanero chills. Slow-build heat and lingering after-burn just like when you cook with them. I’ve had a few hot pepper beers, but this one was by far the tastiest with the best overall balance. Small batch on tap at Perennial Tasting Room. Dark brown. Doesn’t smell like pepper, but definitely tastes like habanero. Its good though because the porter character cuts through as well.
