COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the hop capital of Belgium, Hommel is the word for humulus, the plant genus where hops reside. Our Hommel Bier defies tradition by combining North American malts, Pacific Northwest hops, and a Belgian yeast strain. The result is a beer that combines earthy and spicy tones from the yeast with a slight orange note contributed by the hops. We think it’s buzzworthy.

750ml bottle, shared by beerpig317. Totally hazy orange yellow color. Thin off-white head. Thicker ropes of lace. Some burnt sugars in the nose. Light metallic, caramel malts, light citrus hop. Smooth, lighter kind of soft carbonation. Good herbal character to it. Light bitter, moderate sweet. Medium-plus body. Smooth, soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Solid belgian ale. Smooth and easy drinking. Liked it more and more as I went.
