Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer thats perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

Poured to a sampling shaker at the WCD Trade Expo 2015 in Chicago, displaying a hazed, orangey straw color, with a modest layer of white head foam that reduced to a bubbly ring, and light dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was a bit perfumey, with acidic lemon, pit fruit, and some white wine-like nature. Light bodied, with good spritz to the carbonation, the taste was dry, and quite sour. Perky refreshment, but couldnt necessarily particularize the peach.

Tart lemon nose. Clear golden, medium head. Tart, dry, and crisp white grape and peach, lemon overtones. Some lactic quality. Light body and spritzy. Very refreshing after a vigorous game of tennis when the temperature is in the 90s. Too tart and carbonated for good quaffing though, which was kind of a bummer.

Peach dried green apple aroma. Banana and phenolic wheat adds to tart flavor of soured fruits. Finishes like a Bavarian hefe with dry tartness.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy light gold with a small white head. Aroma is mildly tart and arguably peach. Med body or nearly. Flavor is light sour forward followed by a peach burst. Not all that sour/tart but likely enough to fit the style. Clean and tasty.
