COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. We violate traditional German beer production methods in every way by adding hundreds of pounds of Midwest-grown peaches to each batch. We hope you enjoy the irreverence as much as we do.

Slightly hazy very pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of peach, yogurt, peach candy, the liquid of canned peaches. Sour flavour, light sweet note, malts, light fruity. Finish peach juice, canned peach liquid, light lingering yogurt.

Draft at the Watershed.

My first from Perennial. I have to admit these guys weren’t even on my radar, beyond some vague notion that people spent a lot of time worrying about Abraxas over on the trade forum.

Pretty decent Berlinerweisse, drinkable, tart, less vomit than one gets in the real thing but spot on to the American interpretation, peaches of course, a bit prickly on the tongue, perfectly nice for a low ABV summer fruit beer.

9/22/2014. From bottle. Golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of wheat and funky yeast. I don’t pick up the peaches. It’s tart and refreshing though with a sour finish.

Pours cloudy with an overall good nose. As far as sour beers go, not bad at all.
