Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy pale blond color. A bit fruity, funky, lemony, but also footy. Extremely dry, too much carbonated to the point of an infected beer, some lactic flavor, a bot soapy and fruity; short final.
I don’t know what to do with this.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is pineapple, cereal, dough. Thin mouth, wheat, dough, pineapple cream, light finish, good.

750 ml bottle from my Perennial membership, shared at RBHQ. Pours a cloudy white wine color with a big frothy white head that settles into a lasting fizzy film. There are rising carbonation bubbles in the glass, too. Pineapple, kumquat - on the right track - with lemon, wheat, sourdough, florals, sawdust, and funk. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp, tart, dry, funky mouthfeel. Very nice variant.

Hazy blonde. No much head, though. Light piña nose, kinda yeasty though. Quite fizzy, tart, yeasty and a little bit of pineapple. Fizzy, tart, yeasty. Not hitting.

Bottle shared at the February MDBG tasting. Hazy yellow, thin fizzy off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of bready malt, diacetyl, canned pineapple. The taste is bready malt, pineapple, citrus, yeast. Medium bodied, lingering tartness, high carbonation.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 at JoeT’s mansion. Many thanks to PHale for this beer. Pleasant lemony acidity with nips of melon, tangerine. Light sweet flavor, dry and lightly funky, with some Smarties candies, tart lemons. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Brisk and tart on the finish, more lemon, kiwi, chalky citrus rind, dry wheat. Nice beer.

Bottle at RBWG 2016. Thanks phaleslu. Nose is musty and barny. Modest lemon. Hazy pale yellow. Taste effervescent fruit juice. Lightly funky. A ton of wonderful fruit expression. Great.
