Pour is a cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma is faint malt with some Belgian yeast. Flavor is floral and super tart. Some yeast and spice do show up. Finish is again very tart and dry. tap at brewery-pours bright deep yellow with a small soapy white head with some lacing. Lite nose of floral and lite spice with some lite medicinal notes. lots of flavors here lovely bright fruits, lite esters, phenols that were very pleasant. has some hop character that shows up in the finish, with some herbal/leafy qualities. cool beer for sure! Pours golden / orange with an off-white head. The aroma is very floral and really shows the chamomile along with nectar fruits, smooth malt, banana esters, light hear, grain and gentle spiciness. Medium grainy/husky body with lots of mellow carbonation. The flavor starts out with smooth fruit, rich maltiness, honey, banana, graininess and spice. Tap at tasting room. Pour is slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is chamomile, light buttery malt, faint grass, and a light spice. Really very classic saison aroma here. Flavor is true to nose with chamomile as a very dominant flavor with notes of butter, lemon, and light grass. Very classic, solid saison.

750 ml bottle from Randall’s. Pours a semi-hazed bright yellow gold with a finger of foamy white head that settles into an even film. Aroma reminds me of the Hommel but without the hop character. Dry bready malts, same Belgian yeast as Hommel, and big floral notes. Flavor is majorly floral, but it comes across as more than just chamomile. More bready malts, faint citrus, peppery spice. 750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of straw, chamomile, light spice and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange tinged gold with a nice near white creamy/frothy head. Aroma is Belgian yeast/spice with some floral accompaniment. Near med body. Flavor is mildly spicy, a little bready, and heavily floral. Based only on my impression I’d put it in as woodruff, but clearly it is chamomile. And there’s a lot of it. 750 mL capped bottle, 2011 release sampled fresh: clean sun-gold with a frothy, off-white cream. Unassuming. Fruity aroma with Brady cereal malts along with touches of sourdough yeast. Soft. Flavor is satisfying, subtle, smooth and balanced: honeycomb mixed with softer fruits: green grapes, kiwis and strawberries. Buttery. Deliscous.
