Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought orange peel, grain, some biscuit into some nice berry, strawberry, hints of vanilla with some lemon. Taste was a mix of lemon, grass, strawberry into a bit of berry, hints of vanilla into some biscuit, finishing slightly tart. Steve_0 (3818) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Bottle at 4th Annual Boulder SourFest (2013). Pour is hazy pink/orange with no head. Fruity, strawberry, plastic, woody, and rubbery aroma. Taste is huge butyric, watery, berries, somewhat vegetal and dirty - literally made me gag. Light body with low carbonation. Nasty stuff! jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 14, 2012

Bottle @ Brad’s house Minneapolis, courtesy of jcnielsen. Pours a hazy, golden orange appearance with a bright white head. Zesty, strawberry-rhubarb pie, somewhat spicy, wheat malty aroma. Very dessert-like aroma. Tart, rich strawberry, herbal rhubarb, juicy, herbal, a bit floral, big pie-like, spicy flavor. Really a tasty pie/dessert beer. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 30, 2012
bottle from superdave 12/18/11.
orange color with a big ’ol white head.
the aroma is initially big on the latex glove.... followed by a big earthy rhubarb stink and pale malt and maybe some wheat.
yeasty flavor mixed with dust and a fruitiness that i wouldn’t call berry or rhubarb...spiciness on the finish.
farce beer.... no strawberry, not very rhubarb and not at all tart...meh

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 750mL capped bottle. Should I be disappointed by a beer that tastes like vegetable even though that is the way its advertised? It’s a pretty looking muted golden color with visible shooting bubbles. Pour has a nice thick head that sticks around. Aroma is generally nice beer with wheatiness and faint hints of strawberry. The problem starts and ends with the flavor. Tastes like celery or other bad vegetables, almost undrinkable. Four people tried this with me and they aren’t even beer geeks; we all can’t drink it. I am trying but I it’s too hard. I would recommend others pass on this beer, particularly because of the price. It has a strong flavorful it’s just one I find very bad. Its not worth trying, imo. Pours hazy gold with full off white head. The aroma has a nice load of strawberry followed by salty sort of vegetable rhubarb notes rimmed with a sense of black pepper. The taste has a mix of fruity tartness and strawberries and then rolls into earthy like vegetable earthiness. Nice stuff where I was pleased with the depth and strength of the strawberry notes. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2012
