Almost as good as BCS coffee stout, and that's high praise. Perennial is blowing up. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Draught @ Green Growler. Inky black with very small frothy tan head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, sweetish rich mocha taste with alcohol undertones, smooth full body, long mocha finish. Very fulfilling and tastey

Rich black pour with a slow forming but large tan head. Huge boozy dark complex nose of roasty dark chocolate and earthy peppery coffee with a booze and roast malt phenol. Rich dark chocolate syrup flavor thats been spiked with a little espresso and rich roast black malts. Huge and boozy and a tad warm but roasty and chocolaty and coffeed. Its like boozy Hershey chocolate syrup spiked with espresso.

Thick black pour with a decent orange head and light sticky lacing .... aroma is very strong and of potent coffee, very fresh espresso coffee at that, cocoa, roasted and chocolatey malts .......taste is of fresh roasted coffee, sweet caramel malts, chocolate, cocoa, roasted and caramel malts .... very rich brew with a nice sweetness to it .... has a lot of lingering roasted coffee flavor which totally dominates ... finish is dry and has lots of lingering roasted coffee .... mouthfeel is slick and a bit oily ... body is full .... abv hidden well ..... very very good brew aroma is one of the best Ive had

Bottled 02/03/17, drank 03/15/17. Pours almost black with a tan head that recedes quickly. The aroma is a bunch of coffee, but also some chocolate, and a tiny bit of roast. Taste is more coffee, chocolate, roasty finish. Palate is pretty good, thick, syrupy. Overall, a very coffee forward stout, which is delicious.

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2017 Draft at Bainbridge. Opaque black pour that started with an impressive dark brown head. Giant coffee flavors. Dark chocolate liquor. Charcoal briquettes. Sassafras. Silky black body. ABV well hidden. Not overly complex but no wrong notes here so quite impressed. Well done. Something spectacular to sip!

Coffee on the nose and palate. Lots of coffee. Grounds of coffee. Yet somehow, this imperial stout is still viscous and light and slick.

750ml bottle pours a thick black color without any head. Velvety smooth texture. Nice balance of malt hops and coffee. Rich coffee without much bitterness.

Sampler at fire works pizza. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Doesnt leave much lacing in the glass. More roasted malt than coffee on the nose and tongue. I was hoping the coffee was bigger. Hides its booze well. Not bad.

Tap at happy gnome. Black with creamy tan head . Very strong and desirable coffee aroma. Very chocolate, very creamy, very smooth. Perfect richness and balance. Like a milkshake, but better. Sweet. Wow. Didnt see this coming. Tried to find a measure to dock it in, and couldnt. Amazing.
