750ml c/o RyanH. Pink orange body. Steady creamy white head. Very delicate, unique beer. Flowery, cherry blossom easiness. Grew on me a lot.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-copper pour with white head, aroma brought notes of wine, grape, hints of acetic, slight white grape, bread, hints of grass. Taste is a mix of grass, floral, bready notes, nice balance of white grape, yeast, nice earth, finishing sweet, slightly dry.

4.5oz on tap at Brasserie V during GTMW. Totally hazy kind of pinkish orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Not much lace sticks. Minimal head, really. Good floral, belgian yeast aroma. Some rose / hibiscus flavors. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More slick finish. Moderate sweet taste, light spicy, light bitter. Decent floral belgian ale. Not too impressed, though.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2014
Draft on tap at Brasserie V (Madison, WI). Pours a murky amber ruby hue, like grapefruit juice glow and well haze. Frothy whitish head atop dies to mellow ringer, laces small and sticks around in the same capacity. Aromas are a bit bready, flaked wheat and dough meet subtle fruit. Some gentle grape and mellow yeastiness. Touches of red grape, subtle dried fruit. Initial is a more mellow body with bready malt, flaked wheat and dough. Touches of gentle grape, Belgian yeast shows a mellow spice. Subtle grape, a bit flabby overall. Middle is a touch sweet, bready with some yeasty life. A bit spicy as we press on, combines a bit with the grape must. A bit of straw, gentle vanilla and subtle malt driven elements. Spicy and dry backend, a bit crisp and almost carmelized. This beer ends up a bit messy and sweet at times, a touch unfocused as the sweeter malt base and becomes a bit cloying. Ok.

On draught at 33 Wine Shop and Bar

Pours a bright orange with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fun, floral and fruity with some peppery notes. It’s got a nice earthy almost limestone like mierallity to it too.

The flavory is bright, lightly grapey, with some pepper & citrus. Overall it’s pretty dry.

Refreshing and enjoyable in every way.
