Reviewed from notes. This was received in a trade.
This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance had a fairly decent looking slight hazy to light transparent golden orange color. There was a slight carbonation seen rising to fill a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there.
The smell had an apricot to plum - like aroma (I guess that’s the pluot) there gracefully letting in some general light refreshing citrus like qualities.
The taste was mainly sweet but had a light citrus bitterness to pervade a slight under coating of a tad of sweet bitterness underneath.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat subdued and felt extremely great upon my tongue.
Overall, though I got this in a trade, I have to admit I’m quite intrigued and am hoping to see this again sometime in my life. Westmeister (2127) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 16, 2014
HMOG 2014. Well, I could not get past this tasting like a flower. Citrus and fruity notes of a tripel were there. But I thought the hops and the floral thing were a little too one sided and too much. Perhaps it was the plouts. alexsdad06 (11392) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2014
750 ml bottle via phaleslu and shared with the group in Oct. 2012. Pours a clear deep golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. The aroma and flavor have some floral hops, a nice fruitiness from the pluots that lean more heavily toward plums, some tart character, yeast, pale and sweet malts with a lighter body that makes for easy drinking. merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 8, 2013

T: Belgian Yeast, Mild Belgian Sugar, Mild Peaches
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Drying
Overall, a nice saison-esque beer but definitely don’t sense a triple...too bad I am not more familiar with the pluots fruit. jkwood04 (5473) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 29, 2013
750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden/amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of pluots, some spicy yeast, a little pale and caramel malts, and a floral hoppiness. Flavor the same with a nice blend of the fruit and the Belgian style. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

fruity esters, a touch of sourness. tangy plum/grape note. can’t judge the color -- the bar was too dark. light body. tangy, pleasant sourness. complex fruit flavors, a soft alcohol note. olr1984 (1500) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 5, 2013

Love this one. Wasn’t a huge fan when it was first released but somehow the pluot notes have gotten stronger and really shine on a very delicate beer. Very tasty. anders37 (27898) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 9, 2013
