"Pils"
The noble scent of hops and a characteristic, delicate bitterness along with amber colour and excellent clarity are the biggest advantages of Perla. Lublin hops from the finest growers, select natural ingredients, and a traditional brewing recipe combine to set the standard for the number one seller in the Lublin region.

Jak na międzynarodowego lagera jest nie najgorzej, spory plus za niskie nasycenie.

The mass produced lagers in Poland roughly fall into one of three categories: awful, utterly average or struggling to have some extra flavor. Perła’s the latest, adding some mild hoppiness to the run-of-the-mill dry maltiness. As a result we get a slightly above-average beer, but due to more hoppiness and green bottles it’s also much more jarring in taste after exposition to sunlight. Still, in the "cheap lagers" category it’s probably my favorite.

500ml bottle from Express shop, Warsaw (2.69 PLN):
Definitely up there with the worst of the Polish beers that I’ve reviewed here so far, this one was very cheap & basic tasting with made it a hard one to work my way through. There was some early sweetness but the balance wasn’t great & too many adjuncts featured throughout as well making it one that I really struggled finishing & I wouldn’t have again.

500 mL bottle shared by ebone1988, again for the stupid book. The pour is a clear golden straw with a thick ring of white head and a couple spots of lace as it recedes. The aroma is really bland. There is a hint of floralness on the hop front, but then it just vanishes. It smells like a generic liquid, which isn’t good. The flavor is just not good. Corny, metallic, not sweet. It’s harsh and not good at all. It’s really interesting and messy. The mouth feel is a little syrupy and corny with a lack of carbonation and an awfully bad, cloying aftertaste. This is just not good at all.

Bottle shared with koleminer20. For the book. Aroma is spice, earthy hops, wheat, slight metallic, slight sweetness, decent. Appearance is darker golden, white head, clear. Taste is floral, earthy hops, slightly sweet, corn, wheat, slight metallic. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, floral and then unpleasant sweetness dominates the aftertaste. Overall, it’s not terrible, but it’s not much.

kluczbork (390) - Wroclaw, POLAND - MAR 29, 2017
Bottle. Aroma- almost zero- slightly maltiness and grain notes. Where’s the hoppiness? Pale, clear, with nice, white head, which quickly disappears. Taste- medium-low maltiness, and even some delicate hoppiness- grassy and herbal. Watery, with a medium-high carbonation. Weak beer, but for a big brewery, I’m even quite surprised.

mclaren14 (321) - £ód¼, POLAND - MAR 11, 2017
Aromat: mokry karton, lekkie estry, słodowa podstawa Wygląd: złota barwa, klarowne, wysoka biała piana, dosyć trwała, ładny lacing Smak: lekko słodki, wodnisty, słodowy, kartonowy mniej niż w aromacie, bardziej przypomina mokre zboże Podniebienie: średnie nagazowanie, nawet pijalne, pustawe

Pikodeth (30) - - MAR 10, 2017
UPDATED: APR 9, 2017 Jasne, klarowne, piana obfita, szybko znika. Aromatu prawie brak, śladowe ilości chmielu, słodu i DMS. W smaku powtórka, dominują słody, śladowa, kiepskiej jakości goryczka, bardzo wodniste. W niskiej temperaturze nawet do wypicia. Zbyt wysokie wysycenie.
