Bottle. Clear light amber, little head. Aroma has a lot of the pinot blanc wine with barley. Very interesting. Flavor is quite sour with fruity balances. Very interesting.

Bottle @ home. Appearance is Ok. It smells Agrums, Malt, Caramel. In mouth, alcohol is balanced by the body of this beer. A good beer, with good tastes.

fiulijn (21274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 31, 2012
Bottle at Le Super Coin, Paris
Hazy amber color, medium sized head. It has some aroma of malt, light wine, light fruitiness from the hop, very light rubber. Smooth mouthfeel, good body strength; unfortunately the fermentation produced an evident flavor of vegetables and cabbage, and light liquorice; differently from other beers, this one has some sweet fruitiness too. The bitterness is relatively low, there is a bit of candi in the final, along with light alcohol perception.

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2012
bottle with many thanks to jaghana! Hazy golden-brwnish colour, mid-sized, creamy off-white head. Highly unusual but pleasant aroma of grapes, raisins, very earthy. Good malty base, perhaps slightly sticky, biscuit-like, not too sweet, with lots of grapes and raisins again, also earthy notes and a shy touch of resiny hops. Like a hybrid of beer and wine, this ber has a very vinous character. Very unusual and really, really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2012 Initial rate : Sept 2012. Bottle @foire européenne. A slightly clear golden beer with medium head, nose is on fruit and yeast. Aroma is fruity on dry grapes, quite sweet, hazel nut touch such as "vin jaune", bit unusual, interesting, would be tasted again on a more old bottle to see how complexity will evolve, nice try. Re-rated Nov 2012. The beer is sweet with a quadruple body, and bubble gum yeast touch, it evolves quite nicely, will keep one bottle more than one year to check the complexity. Near to some strong belgian beer profile.
