This Lidl pils is very interesting and reliable new friend. In the beginning you dont find anything special, but It is really difficult to find a beer with this good hop taste. It is there whenever you need it, but it never disturb you. Good foam - works nicely in mouth. This is definitely a very reliable choice after sauna. I never let you down.

Lowenbrau (4304) - Asturias, SPAIN - JUL 23, 2017
Canned. Several times along the years.
In short: poor mainstream pale lager.
Pours quite clean bright gold with nice white head. Lots of DMS and adjuncts nose. Some watery, metalic, sweet. Quite poor.

Aroma: Cereals and herbs. Appearance: Gold color with clear liquid and minimal white head. Taste: Medium bitterness with medium sour notes. Palate: Light body with thin texture and average carbonation. Astringent, bitter and sour finish. Overall: Average beer. Leaves an astringent and metallic memory.

Can. It pours clear yellow with a white head. The aroma is malty with a whiff of hops. Malty metals and malts in the flavor. Earthy bitter hoppy finish.

Uit blik. Ruikt mout, pilsner, hop. Smaakt pilsner, bitterzoet, beetje droog. Aardig.

Aroma is weak - wet grain and some bananas. The color is pale yellow, clear. White, thin head. A lot of alcohol in the taste, some grains, nothing pleasant. It isn’t even drinkable, can’t find any purpose for this beer.

Not a bad beer for the price, purchased for that reason, has a nice flavour not sure what my head will be like in the morning after 8 cans as I started to get a head ache after 2 cans
