From 0.5l bottle, BBD: 14.08.2014. Pours perfectly dark brown to black liquid (not a single ray of light passes through), nice medium frothy stable tan head, Aroma: dark chocolate, espresso, malty, milk chocolate, condensed milk, Taste: medium sweet, medium bitter, dry finish, espresso, chocolate, Palate: light to medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft to flat carbonation, long bitter roasted dry finish. Overall: very good stout, could have smaller head, less sweet starting, little bit more complex body, less watery body and little bit more carbonation.

Dark brown body, light brown head. Aroma has chocolate, roasted caramel, plums and molasses. Flavour is mix between soy sauce, ash, molasses and manouver. Quite a lot of residual sweetness, but enough bitterness for it.

500ml Bottle thanks to Cuso. Pours black with an initially huge, foamy, tan head, powered by carbonation that comes fierce out of the bottle but soon falls flat. The aroma is very rich, with over-ripe dark fruits, prunes, oak and port detectable. On first sip its a little thin on the palate but the taste is very pleasant, with intense smokiness lingering long on the palate. There are also some dark chocolate flavours to be found, although not as much fruit as I expected from the nose. Pretty good.
