A very average beer, but the price is right at a buck a pop.................

Thin head, golden color, and much like an American Standard a sweet aftertaste. Good budget beer that you can pawn off to your macro drinking friends.

Heavy looking golden liquid with a full two fingers of heavy cream colored dense bubbles. Grainy and malty aromas along with herbal hops and grass clipping that have been under the lawn mower for a week. Dry and slightly chalky on the palate. Dry start with a middle of sweet pale malt mixed with lots of minerals. A few fleeting seconds where this actually has some nice flavors, but these are swept away by more minerals and old herbs. Another industrial lager from the Czechs.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, malt, sur malt, perfume, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (100908)

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2004 Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (light bread, grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a note of apple. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. New bottles available in the States no longer have the "Boom" crap, and use the traditional Pernstejn label. Horrible stuff.

Jedsbrew (465) - Rhineland, Missouri, USA - JUL 8, 2005
Poured a fairly rich golden color with a durable head and a nondescript malty aroma. Light bodied with a thin sweet caramely flavor and a not too beerlike bitterness. No bottling date info-approach with caution.

Urine color with fleeting off-white head. Lots of particles floating in gentle carbonation.Malty and hoppy with a touch of apple. Weak and watery. Flavor and aroma were unpleasant but not in the sense that the bottle was skunked.

Clear, golden colour. Disappearing white head. Weak aroma of malt and unfortunately I smell diacetyl. Light bitterness, light body.
