Tasted on draft while in Rome. Color is a clear good with white head that fades quickly. Aroma is stale malts. Taste is caramel malt with slight bitterness. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Actually not too bad for a macro brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma caramel malts. Pours golden with white top. Taste is sweet with sour alcohol finish and too much carbonation. It accompanied a meal which thankfully was far better. But then again I have always had an aversion to lager.

Birra dal colore ambrato. Schiuma grossolana e poco persistente.

BeerViking (4787) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2017
Bottle from Waitrose, pours amber with a clinging thin head, malty and faintly corny nose, some grassy noble hops on the palate, sweet and lightly bitter with a slightly cloying finish. Better than the average Euro-strong-lager, but below average for a Maibock.
